So thrilled to have found Bill! As a career vocalist and pianist, taking up a new instrument later in life could have been a daunting task, but Bill has made it fun, interesting, and quite honestly, exciting. Bill is so knowledgeable and wonderful about breaking things down so I can understand and implement them. I am stunned with my progress in just the few months I've been taking lessons. Bill is so supportive and encouraging (even when life intervenes and my practice time is not what it should be). He always makes sure I leave on a positive note. My husband, who found Bill for me, is a Broadway Musical Supervisor. He is very impressed with Bill's approach to teaching and happy I'm doing so well and enjoying it so much. To top it all off, I enjoy Billy as a human. He's a very cool dude.

Bill is a fantastic guitar teacher! He is a supportive, encouraging, and thorough, and provides so many resources to help you practice outside of one-on-one lessons. Not to mention he's the nicest guy! Highly recommend 🙂

Billy really is the best instructor I’ve ever worked with-or had a chance to meet for that matter. He knows what he’s doing and will know what to do for you. He is very genuine and not someone who will let you fail. Whether it’s my posture, rhythm, or mind he always analyzes and makes sure I’m getting to where we initially spoke about. He brings more to the table everyday, teaching me things I never even thought I’d learn about the guitar, production, navigating and organizing my new practices from him, and more. He really is the most comfortable person and is worth every second. I feel blessed to have him as my teacher, as he does as have other students and I am so happy I’m able to be a apart of his busy schedule, without ever feeling rushed or intimidated. Billy will push you-but with a smile on his face that will keep you smiling too, but will never rush you or be disappointed if you’re struggling in something. He truly does more than adapt to who you are and your environment to help you achieve your max potential. I do love the length of classes he offers. Yes, I want to master the music and industry/tools he’s giving me, but it’s a lot he knows I want to learn with him so not over-doing straight helps me do it! Bills really a blessing to be around and I’m always grateful for his presence. Thank you for being my mentor and such a blessing to this world, Billy Schleifer.

Bill is great! I am already a professional musician, but wanted to study guitar as well. It was important for me to find a pro who could cover a wide range of elements (jazz chords, improv, recording specifics, etc.) He has made the experience relaxed, fun, and hugely informative. Our son has been taking guitar lessons from Bill for just a couple of months and he's already made great strides. He loves his lessons and really appreciates the motivation and support he gets from Bill. Billy is the most competent, patient, and skilled music teacher one could ask for. His ability to break down the complexity of guitar and music theory to deliver it in an understandable way is second to none, he is affordable and flexible with beginner up to advanced players.
