Tonight we attended the fifth show in Sasha Colby's STRIPPED Tour. I love an old architectural theatre. It makes me feel like I'm in a different time, a time when people dressed up and went to shows on a regular basis.
The theatre was grand and had the cornices and details that you can't help but take pictures of. I would definitely go to another show here.
The Sasha Colby show however...we waited for almost an hour after its start time for the show to begin.
After the wait, I did hope the show would be spectacular. It was entertaining enough which is what you want but so much more should have gone into this production. The stage was generally bare and the backdrop was a large sheet that was strung up. She moved a folding chair and table around the far too large (for her show) stage. She did have a few good costume changes which were also done on stage. I would not attend another one of her shows but I would love to see a more dynamic performer command this impressive stage and theatre.

I went for a comedy show and it was entertaining. The venue is a bit older but still a solid spot for a viewing.

Where I was sitting I still had a solid view of the performer and I was on mezzanine area. The acoustics were great and overall it was a good venue.

The only thing I would bring up is the seats in front of you may be a little cramped so youโ€™ll probably have to stand up every time someone wants to get out of an aisle. Other than that, it was good.

Iโ€™d definitely come back here for other shows in the future.

Great venue, really enjoyed the soft seats and beautiful interior here.

Sound CAN be an issue if they havenโ€™t set up the speakers correctly, so be careful even on the ground level.

I attended a concert here a few weeks ago. Sadly, the establishment has seen better days. However, the people that worked as staff were very nice and you can easily see the magic that was once there. It's just needing a little touch-up. This is a great venue to see any performer.

I enjoy nostalgia and the Palace has you dreaming if these walls could talk. A smaller venue that is perfect for an up close and personal experience to enjoy your favorite artist. The staff was accommodating and the seating was surprisingly comfortable.
The theater district is scenic and I would appreciate it being cleaned up.

Waking up and walking into the phantom of the opera or something close to it wise a movie theater with charm and delicate balance of exuberance and wonderment. A place to escape to and be very much in awe of all at the same time. Everything dosnt have to hurt as much in a place that creates a vortex into the imagination of strangers that soon become friends. A wonderful place to go as a group or with someone to share your life story with.

The Palace Theater is in a beautiful old building, but it badly needs repairs! Itโ€™s dirty and dingy looking. If the lights had been brighter, there is no telling what else would have been seen.

Attended a midweek show that was close to sold out. The venue seemed unprepared and understaffed. ONE person with a wand was checking people as they entered. The result was a 30 minute wait to enter the venue and a show advertised for 8pm didn't start until 920. A simple staffing issue that should have been forseen and managed. Once inside not a single usher to direct people to their section/seats and no signs corralating what's printed on the ticket to the venue. Muddy sound, not much in the way of lighting. Disappointing overall. The theater itself is cozy and beautiful inside but there's work to do as far as operations.
