I feel blessed that this is my local regional symphony. Before Francesco and before Weill Hall, they were OK but having such a magnificent music hall has allowed them to attract significant international talent and Francesco is amazing as a conductor and as an educator. I only fear that we will lose him as he goes up the ladder to more prestigious orchestras.

Santa Rosa has a wonderful symphony. I was season ticket holder for six years and will be again when I can afford to be. I would hold up our symphony to any other and not just here in the Bay Area! They are just good folks and I have known a few outside their night jobs 😉

Attended Santa Rosa Symphony concert yesterday: Beethoven’s 9th…truly marvelous…orchestra, chorus, and soloists all outstanding… and maestro Lecce-Chong used no score! I was moved to tears at the conclusion. Bravi to all!!!

Just got back from the Green Music Center, Sonoma State University, Weill Hall.
We were treated to Steve Tyrell and the Santa Rosa Symphony Orchestra.
Awesome Venue, awesome orchestra and Steve Tyrell is the epitome of 30s, 40s and 50s standard music. Some of the best music to be created by humanity.
Absolutely the best musical experience I've had in a very long time.
Cant wait to do it again...
