Comfortable spot with couches and tables to sit at before a show. The bartenders were inconsistent in terms of making cocktails. Watching them side by side, there was a big discrepancy in drink volume. I wouldn’t mind except with the $15-17 price tag.

Lovely venue with 2 separate floors, each with a bar and bathrooms. Both floors are even wheelchair accessible. Ease of parking in the area can vary.

Sadly, I was attempting to produce an event and everything was set, verbally. After months and months of delays in getting an actual contract, it finally arrived at $65,000 higher than discussed. Meanwhile, I hadn't been looked at other venues while waiting. Lessons learned: nothing is set without a contract, and The Hemlock cannot keep their word.
