Price gouging and lazy used record pricing. They are charging 39 for new sealed Blue Note Classics releases that retail for 27 everywhere else. New used inventory is seems to have two price points, 19 and 29 which is the oddest thing I've ever seen in a new arrivals used bin. Rarer pricier records are put somewhere else. Decent selection but hard to support a store that offends you with such pricing strategies. Just leaves a bad taste.

Incredibly helpful and friendly owner (I presume he's the owner). We wanted a specific album we saw the day before and called about it. He looked then, the whole drive there and helped still when we arrived but it was nowhere to be found. Then he stayed open after hours, doors locked, cause my boyfriend forgot his wallet in the car and had to walk back because we did end up buying something else. It's not his first time there and far from the last. So great to get incredible service and the selection is great too 🙂

Great selection of used and new vinyl. The inventory is always rotating. All genres sold, including an especially good selection of rock, punk, and jazz. The owner knows his stuff and is very transparent about what he is selling. The records are even graded. He is very helpful and will help you tell the difference between releases and pressings. This is a vinyl lover's paradise. I've found records here i've found nowhere else in the Bay Area. You are guaranteed a quality product at a reasonable price at Red Devil Records. Ignore the negative reviews.

I love this spot and a review is long overdue. If you know how to dig and what to dig for your complaints about pricing only show how out of touch you are with what it’s like to buy records in today’s time. This is not goodwill nor is it the estate sale where you can buy records in bulk for $25. Be realistic and be fair. Also do your homework before you go to any record store, often times they are curated towards that particular owners interests, would I go here for some house/dub records? No. Would I go here for the jazz and soul selections? Yes. I say all of this to say, this place is one of the last standalone record shops in Marin and I hope to be buying records for years to come.

Quick visit, but left with a couple of nice rare finds at reasonable prices. Including The Cure, a Pink Floyd live album and a couple of singles.

Met the owner, and he is knowledgeable and frank. Learned about a punk band “RADIO BIRDMAN”.
