As many others have said, you can not beat the service of VIP Personnel! The facility is elegant and professional. Also, you are greeted in a friendly environment. I want to give a special recognition to Ashlyn Key! She was amazing and landed an opportunity in the field I desired within a week. She informed me ahead of time that if I did not hear anything from her it was because there was no update so I would not just be waiting for her call was so considerate in my opinion. I looked into VIP Personnel back in the summer of 2023. As a recent college graduate, I had my worries about finding employment. I didn't have reservations over my major, but came to find out that employers seek out candidates with a lot of experience versus recent grads. A former classmate had recommended the agency's services, though. She said they helped her find a role. I was paired up with a recruiter that had a sunny disposition. I had hope about finding a job. She said she had a role in particular that came to mind and that she would reach out to the partnering firm to secure an interview. Two weeks later, I hadn't heard anything from her so I sent her an email. She responded and said there was no update. So, I was waiting patiently throughout this process. Weeks into a month pass by and I email her back asking if there are any other positions she could send my resume over on. No response. It wasn't until a couple months ago I decided to begin the job search again and she reached back out to me after I filled out an inquiry online. She said she would get my resume floating around and that she'd reach out with job opportunities as they present themselves. I hadn't heard from the office until I applied for another role online. This time, however, I was contacted by another recruiter. She wanted me to start the entire process over in sitting down for an interview and discussing my career goals. The recruiters are nice, but they are not prompt communicators. I found a job on my own through Indeed, no thanks to VIP.

I met with a recruiter at VIP Personnel and was very excited to meet her and potentially have more success with my post-graduate job search since I graduate May 2024. However, our first meeting was VERY brief and she did not seem very interested at all in my journey to finding a job and expectations were realistic. I was not asking for her to help me find my dream job right out of college but just asking for some guidance because I had no luck on my own after applying to over 200+ jobs at that time. The day that we met, she asked me to send over my resume to her email after our first meeting and did soon after I returned home. I then went about my life as usual for a month until I realized, "I haven't received any updates or a response to my initial email" so I called. She then told me that she was sending out my resume but hadn't gotten any prospects. I found that surprising considering she hadn't updated me if my references had contacted her yet. (and given that the first time I went in the office, the ladies there were super unprofessional and I could overhear them LOUDLY talking about one of their clients - said their name and everything- and how the client was so awesome and had amazing references, it made me feel self conscious being a college student that has only done retail and college jobs not relating to my field in Marketing.) But I left it alone and again, went about my life with school and work. Then I finally reached my last straw, today. Now, I understand fully that VIP Personnel was NEVER going to guarantee me to find a job. I repeat, I understand that. I am frustrated because, like a lot of the 1 star reviews here, I received ZERO communication along the way. Even if my recruiter was never able to find me a position through VIP Personnel, I would've understood completely but ALL I wanted was for someone to genuinely care about my job search, why I'm doing it, and COMMUNICATE if things aren't going as planned on their end. I had to initiate all of the correspondence with my recruiter, and honestly, either she forgot who I was constantly or she just seemed very annoyed or indifferent to the fact that I was concerned about not receiving any updates of any kind. I thought this would be a collaborative process where if anything was needed on my end (like getting different references than the ones I provided, changing my resume if needed, writing personalized cover letters, etc.) I would be be able to do that! And I offered to do all of the above FYI. Anyway, that is why my review is so low and honestly would be zero stars if I could. VIP Personnel is a waste of time. And no, I will not be removing my review 🙂

From the moment I interviewed with her, she has been warm, welcoming, and thorough during the entire application process and even after I received my new job offer!
