2024 review:
Vendors ran out of food very quickly. When I arrived, I asked a bartender when the event ends and he said 11:30pm. Meanwhile it ended before 10pm so I missed out on stuff since I was pacing myself.

Extremely overpriced unless you're gonna have like 6+ drinks...

Highlights were Donna's salmon cannolis, and Adam Perry Lang's pork shoulder.

As a major dessert person, I was underwhelmed with the sweets offerings.

As my one friend who didn't attend the event said: "$270 and they run out of food is borderline fraud."

I won't come back in the future despite living within walking distance.

Excellent event with amazing food and drinks. Well worth the price for the variety and quality. We are gong to upgrade to VIP next year.

We went to LA's Best New Restaurant Celebration in DTLA about a month earlier than this, which was similar but was half the price, much more booze, fewer people and the same quality of food. The organizers of LA Wine and Food Festival attempted to support the ticket price by getting wine companies to give "tastings" but none of them brought enough to give full pours so getting wine and drinks was nearly impossible with long lines for few options. The desserts were completely eaten by the time I was ready for dessert, which is just crazy for a $225 GA ticket price. I think they wasted too much money on the celebrity chefs and not enough on food and drinks, especially since they oversold the event. We will not be returning next year.

If I could give this event -10 Stars I would… It ended way earlier than expected, the music was horrible with really bad speakers, and the quality of wine n liquor was subpar. A few local restaurants had booths but definitely not worth the price of the ticket.
