Sound quality was great, staff and owners are so communicative and helpful. Lance the owner is a really great guy. I loved performing here. A big plus is that as an indie artist you keep all your tickets sales and merch sales. Love this venue.

Had a great time at Permanent Records Roadhouse. Saw a comedy show there.
All around good evening. Service was pretty good. I'd like to go back & check it out when there's not a show going on & shop. Do recommend.

Only gripe was lack of food. All they have are chips & snacks, which over the course of a night, at a show, that will not cut it. And it didn't seem like there was many options nearby. There's a Papusa place next door, but they don't stay open very late. So yeah, be prepared for that, if you're going to be there for the night. But yeah, cool spot.

Wonderful bar and music venue with great old-school red lighting, decor, and a diner-tiled floor. Been to only a couple shows here but always a good time with cool bartenders and clientele. This is also a golden opportunity for record shopping with a great, diverse selection of vinyl shelves lining the stage.

Attended the Queens of the Stone Age, “In Times New Roman”, Listening Party. Had a great time and even made some new friends. They have tasty unique house cocktails and a most excellent selection of records for the rock aficionados. It’s got that unpretentious dive bar ambiance I personally love. Bummed I missed Ron Funches at the Popular Kids Club earlier in the evening, but will keep my eyes peeled for future events here. Definitely recommend.

I used to come here when it was Cafe NELA back in the day. At first I was reluctant to check out the new place, but I went there for the Queens Of The Stone Age, In Time New Roman, album listening party. It still has the same divey and warm feel that I was used to. NOW there’s a record store in the back, bands play in the bar still, but sometimes there’s another band playing in the back. AND there’s even comedy nights with some well known celebs. This has a unique collection of the coolest things that I love in one place. now if they start screening movies, then I’m moving in! Since I live only a mile away, I have a feeling this is going to be my new favorite haunt.

Got here yesterday, minutes before the bar opened up for the evening. This place is cool. ? It’s part record store, part dive bar. Way cool. It wasn’t my first time being at this place yesterday. I’ve been here a couple of times already before. I like the inside and back patio as well. Come by and check it out. While you’re at it, have a cold beer…?

Great venue! Pros: Great bar staff, service, and drinks. Really nice, large outdoor patio area. Cool record shop. Decor & lighting set a nice vibe. Great PA & live sound quality. Cons: The floor slopes upwards towards the stage, making it harder to see over the heads of people in front of you (the opposite of how most theaters are designed). The ceiling is quite low, so it can get pretty warm & steamy inside (especially closer to the stage, or when the house is packed like it was for REZN).
