I have a soft spot in my heart (and probably head) for this place. I have recorded numerous albums and projects here since 1986, both as artist and producer. It's got a classic Sonoma County/ NorCal vibe (Neves in chicken coops in the country, add cannabis and microbrews). Always an adventure.

Nothing but the best, most efficient, chill, professional, creative, wacky, family & fun atmospheres at Prairie Sun. Many of our idols before us (NIN, FNM, Tom Waits, Primus) recorded there. Mooka (owner) and Nate (lead engineer working with us on our record) have given us nothing but love. Warmest studio vibe, Neve consoles to die for, sick in-house amps, mikes & drums, and a furnished guest farm house with ample bus parking to boot make this studio top notch. No matter your level of musicianship, if you're anywhere near northern California, look no further than this place to record your music, be it vintage, futurist, or anything in between.
