We’ve had such an amazing experience at Music Lab. Our 5 year old has been taking drum lessons with Sam for over a year, and it’s been such a joy to watch his skills grow. Sam is incredibly patient and knows how to make each lesson engaging for young kids. You can tell everyone here truly cares about what they do. The whole staff is so friendly, sweet and welcoming. We always look forward to the lessons. Can’t recommend them enough.

My daughter is in musical theater and has been taking voice lessons with Ms Wendy for almost a year now. During that time I’ve seen SUCH an improvement in her skills - she even landed the lead roll in her school play!

Everyone has always been SO sweet and welcoming. You can tell they are passionate about what they do. We’ve been to other schools where we haven’t had the same experience, so we are very grateful. They are also the least expensive, which makes it even better!!

Highly recommend Music Lab. My 13 year old son takes trombone lessons there. He has great rapport with his instructor. I appreciate how flexible Music Lab is in rescheduling Saturday appointments when my son cannot attend. Great place!

I can’t say enough good things about Music Lab! We’ve been going for over a year, and it’s been an awesome experience. Craig, our instructor, is amazing. His love for music and teaching makes every lesson awesome

The staff is super friendly and always goes out of their way to make everyone feel welcome. You can really tell they care about helping us grow as musicians.

I have so enjoyed my voice lessons with Wendy at Music Lab Northridge! She is a wonderful teacher, very skilled in her craft, and really helped me access some parts of my voice that I always struggle with by thinking of it in totally new ways. Sergey helped me with my registration and was super professional and supportive of my musical journey as well. Great environment and perfect for kids and adults!

So glad my friend told me about the Music lab! It was such a unique experience of learning. The instruments are nice and the instructor was very knowledgeable. He answered my son’s all questions patiently and my son learned a lot just in a session. Nice and great vibes all around!
We took a free trial lesson and sign up for monthly classes. Prices are great for the quality you get. Highly recommended 🙂

Avoid this business at all costs. Here's why:

I was searching for a violin class for my daughter and, based on online reviews, signed up for a trial session. Monica mentioned their current instructor and a new one they were hiring. We opted for the existing instructor.

The owner canceled the trial and rescheduled it for the following week in August. A few weeks later in September, one day we showed up only to find the instructor absent without prior notice. They promised to add 15 minutes to the first two October sessions to make up for the missed one.

When we arrived for the first October session, the doors were locked and no one was there. After waiting, they informed us over the phone that the instructor had suddenly quit and claimed to have called us—this wasn’t true. We received an email just 45 minutes before the class.

We requested a refund for the month of October and the missed September session, which they agreed to. But 2 weeks later, there was no refund and they stopped responding to our emails and calls.
We ignored many negative signs from the start.
Save yourself the hassle and find a reliable music class with professional instructors.

Music Lab Northridge is an absolute gem and I cannot say enough good things from our experience there! Sergey at the music Lab has been so understanding and flexible with our family needs as we were trying to figure out the best class fit for our son. To top that, Isaac, our son's current instructor has got to be one of the most patient and skilled music instructors I have met. The way he engages with the younger learners and teaches them all that is music is absolutely incredible! Highly recommended!!!
