Went and saw fluffy. They have security and a metal detector so remember to take any pocket knives or anything like that off your person and put them in your car or you will have to walk back or throw away the items. Kinda sucks. Show was awesome. Venue was pretty cool.

For the commencement ceremony, I was turned away from the security checkpoint for having a bag the size of a Harry Potter book, yet they allowed backpacks, several totebags, and even a rolling carry-on—all of which my bag could have easily fit into—with no issue.

The rule was that any bag larger than a clutch or not clear can’t be brought in. Yet these pictures show that the event staff at the entrance is unable to enforce its own bag policy reliably and simply cherry picks random bags so as to look like they’re doing their jobs.

Look at the bags in these photos. Can the Alaska Airlines Center honestly say that they enforced their “clutch or clear” bag policy? Can a security team that flouts its own rules be trusted to ensure no contraband passes through its doors?

Venue is great - the box office and buying your tickets? Not so much. They don't put out there that certain sections are on bleachers when you're buying tickets and then wont bother to talk to you about it afterwards.

The event was great. The venue needs to find a way to get people in faster. And maybe have signs of what you can't bring instead of going through long lines to find out. Only downside of that event was the venue staff.

It’s a pretty building… I just love having to go through a metal detector every time I go to an activity here. If you have an EDC of any kind, you will be turned away… if they catch you. They are not very good at their security… but you have to wait in line every time, sometimes very long lines, for not very good security.

This Alaska Airlines stadium is updated and very nice. Be careful when parking because even though it’s not we’ll marked, you will get a ticket for parking lot closest to the front door.
Concession stands were nice, Popcorn was OK and soda was OK as well. Overall, the stadium could use some more attendance, so maybe some more marketing or somehow bring in some more fans to make the sport game come alive but overall it was great!

Drove the students to the college basketball game. Was fun. If course there's a food stand. Had the pretzels with cheese. Was very good though needed more cheese. Haha
