What an amazing visit! To be honest, I saw in Google this building and looked quite interesting on pictures, but as it is a concert hall we didn’t make much of it. We went to Downtown LA on a slow weekend and were pleasantly surprised that you can tour the building for free.
You can ask for audio guides of access them on your phone with the QR codes located on every relevant spot.
If you are interested in architecture, this might be a good place to stop, if not probably enjoy more the outside garden and the gorgeous facades of the building.
The staff both in the theater and in the store are very helpful and friendly.

It was a bit disappointing that the hall wasn’t open when we visited, but we still got to explore the Blue Ribbon Garden and some of the areas of the building that were accessible. The architecture is stunning, and even just walking around was a treat!

I hope to come back someday to experience a concert here and enjoy the amazing acoustics and atmosphere. It’s definitely a place worth visiting, even if just to admire its beauty from the outside.

Super well organized, there was staff waiting for the attendees in order to scan their tickets, everything was very well prepared, it was clean, the bathrooms were nice, the parking lot was right underneath the concert hall. All in all, awesome 👏🏻 😎 and great concert! I liked the translations on the screens above the musicians. It’d be great if they also had the translations in Spanish and Chinese too around on the screens .✨🫶🏼🩷

Gustavo Dudamel - Mahler. This was breathtaking. He had no scores for the 80 plus minute performance. 5 pieces of Mahler were selected and played. Each piece having their own story to tell. It's worth the buildup and excitement as this show feeds the soul.

If you have family that enjoys music, this makes a beautiful gift.

Admiring the architecture of this beautiful building is sufficient reason to visit on any given day. Planning ahead is key if you want to see the LA philharmonic. The cheaper tickets go fast, and shows can sell out. The garden on the second floor is a real treat. Despite open access, it never seems to get too many visitors and can be a beautiful place to walk or sit down and relax. If available, do take the self-guided audio tour or a docent lead guided tour to learn more about how the Disney family has contributed to this LA landmark. Being right next door to the Broad museum is just another reason to make your way here.

I haven’t been inside the actual concert hall. I’m on jury duty and this is where jurors park. The building is beautiful My only thought everyday is, why does this place smell like mold or mildew? Any thoughts? It’s a popular spot for photo shoots.

I loved visiting this concert hall! The parking was easy, the ushers were helpful and despite several non-working escalators- the facility is well maintained and clean. The seats are comfortable and I don’t think there is a bad view in the house.

I got to meet Grammy award winning American/Estonian, conductor Paavo Jarvi, as well as see a breathtaking performance of the LA Philharmonic and pianist, Soeng Jin Cho of South Korea.
That was fantastic! I was accompanied by the LA Estonian Society, what an honor.

The gift shop was lovely and had such rare gems, especially in the area of books. 📚 I’ll have to return just to take in some coffee and peruse the shop. Yes, I know it’s all available online but quite honestly- online shopping is boring to me most of the time. I like the people interaction and asking the staff what their favorite picks are and what’s selling best- something is lost online, imho.

The architecture of this concert hall is extraordinary. So much to see, easy to get to, easy to park, great performances, wonderful shopping, easy access to refreshments, comfortable spaces and clean restroom facilities. Highly recommend visiting for a show that grabs your fancy. I think you will enjoy it!
