I recently attended a class at Queen Bees pole dance studio and I must say, it was an absolute blast! The studio is incredibly welcoming and beautifully decorated. Lorena and Stecey are fantastic instructors who creates a supportive and fun environment for students of all levels.

Throughout the class, the teachers provided clear instructions and tailored their teaching style to accommodate each student's needs. Their positive energy and encouragement made the experience even more enjoyable.

I left the studio feeling empowered and eager to continue my pole dance journey. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a fantastic workout, an uplifting atmosphere, and exceptionals instructors.

I have been to many events throughout the years here. And they all have turned out amazing. Being near parking in north park is rare. There is always something special going on here or rent it out for own events. I have witnessed both turn out amazing.

the owner of this venue doesn't want to pay out the 50% ticketing split that was listed in our event contract and is continuing to ignore my messages and calls over a one month time span, perhaps I will finally hear from her after leaving this review.

do not leave the venue without being paid!! I booked a concert at this venue on a short tour for indie musicians. I was told by the venue employee that Alma handles all the payouts from their eventbrite sales and to reach out to her after our show and she would handle it. I did so and never heard back so I started reaching out to this employee Seven who was responsive, they said they could set up a time for me to speak with Alma which never happened and I was also told several times she would be reaching out to me which has yet to happen and it's been a month of me trying to get in contact.

Seven says she doesn't want to pay bc we didn't sell 50 tickets (we sold 46 $18 tickets) and I made a $250 deposit to secure the date. the 50 ticket minimum was never mentioned in the contract.

Additionally, their eventbrite page did not work to purchase tickets on the day of show and did not get fixed after I brought that up which likely lead to less ticket sales. I also asked if they could sign me up for daily ticket sales emails via eventbrite and they refused, saying that they don't provide access to their eventbrite account (that's not at all what I was asking, I was asking for a simple automated email) they seemed to not understand my simple request and I was told no promoter had ever asked for that before.

The sound person for our show showed up at doors time, which lead to us having to push doors 30 minutes while we had a line of people waiting outside. The venue itself was nice, had a large stage and large greenroom and the employee Seven that was working that day was very nice and helpful.

The venue owes me at least $414 (from our ticket sales that went into their eventbrite account). I hope to get this resolved and be able to update this review with a positive resolution.

Queen Bee's is the heart of North Park! I moved to North Park so I could dance at QB's Salsa Sundays! Then I found out they had line dancing and swing as well! Save this historic building and QB's Art and Cultural Center!

So much fun! We had a destination wedding in San Diego and Queen Bees Cultural Center was awesome! They met our every need! Everything looked beautiful and it was just our style. Staff is great and attentive and was able to accommodate the live band my beautiful daughter Erin hired. Lots of local catering options and they did a great job on the in house appetizers! This place holds a big place in my heart and so glad i found it! Its a treasure!

I like going to all ages shows here with the family. It's a fun little dive. But parking is outrageous in this neighborhood, so be prepared to shell out more cash!

I have a bartending company called Bar None and I was hired to bartend the birthday celebration of Charles McPherson, THE jazz legend. The show was amazing, as was the man of the hour. The venue is awesome - there is a large front room with a stage, another fairly large room past the front one, three restrooms, and a patio area out back. The bar is large and allows for plenty of alcohol, mixers, and storage. I have bartended at this venue before and it is always a fun place. If you are planning an event - wedding, concert, burlesque show, dance lessons, whatever - Queen Bee's is the place to have it. Let them know Robyn with Bar None referred you. 😉 ♡
