We purchased a car from Mercedes Benz of Walnut Creek back in January 2024 after finding an incredible deal online. We called to confirm the details and decided to make the purchase the same day.

Initially, the process seemed smooth. However, the dealership had added a few extra charges on top of the quoted price. After some back and forth, they eventually agreed to honor the advertised price, which was appreciated.

Unfortunately, several issues arose post-purchase.

First, there was an error in the paperwork. Despite my explicit request for them to verify our names for typos, they made a mistake. While they corrected it at the dealership, the documents sent to the DMV still contained an incorrect last name. This caused significant hassle for me to get it rectified myself, and despite repeated follow-ups with the dealership, they failed to resolve it or provide any support.

Second, there was a long delay in receiving the second key fob for the car. At the time of purchase, we were informed they had misplaced it but assured us they were looking for it. However, it wasn't until nearly 11 months later in mid-December (2024), after numerous follow-ups via text messages and phone calls, that we finally received the second key.

That said, the dealership does offer a strong inventory with some great deals. However, the overall experience left much to be desired due to the lack of attention to detail and the significant effort required to resolve these issues.

If you're considering buying from this dealership, be cautious. Double-check all paperwork thoroughly and ensure you receive all accessories, like key fobs, on the day of the deal to avoid unnecessary complications.

From the time I contacted Mercedes Benz of Walnut Creek I was very, very happy with the communication and service of the employees who helped me buy my vehicle. The showroom was lovely and the staff super friendly and helpful. I love my new pre-owned car! The only negative was the employee who finalized my sale was extremely pushy, trying to sell me extended service packages that I would never purchase. Some sensitivity training is needed for the way the dealership presents these additional products to the buyer. However, I finally was out in the parking lot and saw my car with a red bow on top and that was just really cool. Thank You
