" Art is something so special gives wings to the men fly freely to anywhere around the world " the bird alone is someone without arts opportunities with powerful wings."

Every season the Long Beach International City Theatre surprises us. Leaves us walking out wanting more. And then waking up the next day still talking about it.
This season, that surprise is Under the Skin, by playwright Michael Hollinger.
This is a sly, witty but very poignant play that does what all great live drama does: Grabs you and takes you somewhere you didn’t expect to go with its very simple but very profound message.
The acting, staging and crisp direction quickly transport you into this drama. Intermission and all, it’s over before you know it – and you wish it wasn’t.
The professionals at ICT know what they are doing. They have out-done themselves this time.

I am thrilled that the ICT is back, live! A few years ago, I "won" tickets at a silent auction, though I had never heard of ICT. We have been season subscribers since! The venue is small and the seats are comfortable so it's the perfect place to enjoy a play.

Lovely Thatre beautifully decorated. Excellent friendly staff. Located in the Long Beach convention Center. They do put on excellent plays. They serve snacks and cocktails. If you subscribe they do have money saving. Packages. Check it out if you have the opportunity.

Caryn Desai provides Long Beach with superior theater. Her last production, Arthur Miller's The Price, is well written, directed with skill and subtlety, and beautifully acted. The set is fabulous.

I am a season ticket subscriber and have been for many years. I never ask which plays make up the season because it doesn't matter. The plays never disappoint. They are always exceptional.

The theater is beautiful and Ms. Desai meets every theater goer as they enter the theater. And there's no bad seat in the house.

Ticket prices are reasonable and well worth the price of admission.

Dennis will assign you the best seats available. He is fabulous.

You won't find better theater anywhere...the Ahmanson, Dorothy Chandler, Mark Taper. International City Theatre (ICT) matches and often surpasses any theater anywhere. And we're so lucky to have ICT right here in Long Beach.

I saw tick tick boom here. Great cast and band. Sound is absolutely amazing in this theatre. I just wish they had more budget on lighting/stage.

The theater itself is very nice. The production that I saw was good but not great. Parking is ridiculously overpriced. A season subscription is expensive and provides little overall discount (except the insane parking fee) and forces you to buy tickets for shows that you mostly likely have no interest in.
