Wonderful intimate space for the Shakespeare Festival. This was our second year and it did disappoint. Plenty of parking, and restrooms were down stairs (there's an elevator, I believe) but there was an additional building where restrooms were located on the main floor.

Cozy! That's polite for very cramped seats! Fortunately the staging and the skills of the crew obviously had to work with any director quite closely, because any 2 or 3 act play without a well placed intermission would never work! You must be allowed to get up and stretch your legs!
Beyond that, it's a great venue! Whisper magic and stage
perspective, plus smart dynamic lighting make this place ideal for a little theater.... As long as you can get up before a DVT sets in.

Shakespeare Festival! Their performance of Sweeny Todd was absolutely stellar. Looking forward to coming back for their production of Tinkerbell. Everyone has been beyond polite and accommodating.

Much Ado About Nothing was hilarious and so well done! Cuddos to the cast, crew abd facility! We could hear, had great seats and it wasn't freezing in there! Lol!

Ann Dean Turk known as the art or turk building at Kilgore College performs plays, holds art shows within its gallery, holds choir performances among other things. Students have a great time just hang out in front of the building around the fountain as well. The only down side is it is a rather old building and the only bathrooms are in the basement.
