I never knew this quaint little town was just an hour from our lake home in Paradise Hills, Lake Tenkiller. So many fun shops and history and I wasn’t able to spend as much time as I would have liked To have, but will come back soon to capture the entire experience.

We love to see the historic districts. Van Buren is well kept with plenty to see. A great place to stop for train enthusiasts. I noticed they also included a water pad for kids past the train depot.

I love the idea of the performance stage and the entertainment district created by the people of VB. We ate at The Vault and perused a lot of the open businesses.

My family and I went to enjoy the jingle and mingle on Main 2019 it turned out much better than I thought a huge number of people but all the programs were strategically placed where the lines would move quickly and would not back up. The Santa picture set up is very nice with all the trees hot chocolate was free nearby for standing in line and they even had art projects for the kids to do while waiting it was amazing. Right outside of the Santa photos they had two real reindeer for the kids to see feed and pet. Many other organizations set up stands which was nice it was more activities for the kids or photo shoots for the kids they even had a horse and buggy that the kids could ride on.

Music festival in full effect. Anytime the streets are blocked off, the hunt is on. The elusive and always delicious, funnel cake. Strawberry snow cone to to wash it all down. Then it's Nap time
