First time I've been to Butler Field since 1996. Back then it was a real grass and dirt field. The field now has artificial turf so no more marching in mud when it rains. They have excellent lighting for night practice and a PA system that works well and is easy to understand what is being said. The Million Dollar Band truly has a practice facility worthy of their stories History.

Great field. Artificial turf superior in every way to previous worn grass and old field next to Mary Burke and Barnwell where many of us marched 50 years ago!

Nice athletic field with turf. The field is kept clean and operational, outside of Million Dollar Band usage, field is open for recreational use, with all rules posted clearly. Only drawback is parking, as it is located on a college campus, most parking requires a pass.

As a MDB alumni, it was awesome to stand in front of the current band and watch practice. The (new) field and tower are amazing. I was blown away by the difference between when I was in the band and now. It’s so nice the band has such an awesome place to practice!
