The first and last time we will attend. The one star is for the ticket booth.
May 25,2024 event in concord.
We were the fist ones to get there. Was told that we could Stan in any of the “window” because they will open them. Flyers says ticket sales will be 9:30.
They open the first window. Then didn’t open the rest until past 10:00.
Then they open only two at the other end. People from the back rush forwards forming a new line. Like…we ask them what’s happening, and if they were going to open the others and they said “no and be patient, because these are kids who are helping with the ticket booth. I don’t blame the kids, they were following orders. The ADULTS should have taken over and take control of handle lines and queues.
A few the us and the families then had go all back in the end of the new lines form, because by then, people already push their way toward the new line.
The LADY answering the question was the RUDEST persons we’ve ever met. She didn’t even address the answer and was just like “be patient”. We are patient and we’ve been in line all morning. We following the rules, and then they just change it and was like “no, we change our mind about the opening the other window and yall just gonna have to go back to the newly form lined..”
HORRIBLE lady deserves zero stars!!
We left after having to go back in the end of the line.

Not to be missed! Great fun and affordable for the family. We spent a fun filled day with our 8yo: dance shows, petting zoo, kids rides, bounce houses: just the right size venue for young kids.

2023 Kids Fest Honest Review

Non-food VENDORS BEWARE! This was the worst event my small business had ever been to. It was a complete rip off not only for vendors but families as well. This is why people won't have money to buy from vendors.

Families
1. They charged over $8 per person ( Imagine taking your family of 4 or more)
2. Charged $9 for parking.
3. Super overpriced food & drinks omg (shaved ice were $9, $10 corn dogs, $10 for root beer float, $8 for 3 finger sized lumpias cut in half, $35 to $40 for bbq plates)
4. $1.50 per ticket for rides.

By the time they come to your booth, they do not want to spend any more money.

Vendors
1. $249 for a 10×10 booth
2. There was so much competition. I found 4 different sellers selling exactly the same products.
3. The set up blocked 80% of the vendors from the main stage. Traffic was at the front row to the main stage.
4. I talked to every vendor on my row. Some made a sale after being there for 4 hours, some did not make any at all. I did not break even after being there for 3 days, 7-8 hours each day. Some vendors did not bother coming in on the 3rd day. It was just not worth it.

The 1 good thing about this was they had carts to move your merch to your designated spots so you don't have to take them yourself.

Overall, unless you are a food vendor, face painting & giving away free stuff, this festival was not vendor friendly at all. Go for the experience if you want but I would not recommend if you are trying to make money. You might think that maybe people did not want what I was selling but I've made $400-$600 in sales at a $40 event in 1 day for 5 hours than this 3 day 8 hours long festival. It was just horrible that even some of my neighbors made zero sales for 2 days. Take it from us who took the L and save yourself gas if you plan to travel & save your money if you want to partake.

You're welcome!
A disappointed vendor.

The Kids town was amazing. Its nice to have a " free area" with wholesome activities for the children to do.
