Strawberry Festival in May - Vista, California

PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR DOGS!!! THEIR PAWS CAN BURN AND IT IS TOO LOUD. The Strawberry festival in Vista is huge! Very crowded, limited parking, very loud with live music, very expensive, under the direct sun, and almost no strawberries, lol. That last part was confusing. The photo I added was the line to get on the free transportation from the parking lots to the festival. We had to park very far away and take this bus that was not wheelchair accessible. The cool part of all this is getting to see local artists sell their work! That's what the good stars are for!

Definitely not a strawberry festival! Where was the strawberry theme?! I mean they sell large crates of strawberries that you can find just about anywhere in that area but very few tents had anything to do with strawberries. It was more of just a street fair with overpriced food and a kids area that will just take your money. Vista city council should consider changing the name to the "annual vista street fair" or make each vendor sell something associated with strawberries. And they need to figure out the bus transportation. We sat and waited for almost an hour from Vista highschool before we got to a fair that really entertained us for two hours.

Pretty awesome festival, lots of spots to buy food and listen to live music. I would have given it a 4/5 but we mainly went for the bounce houses and it is extremely expensive. Going down one slide or 5min in a bounce house is $8. We ended up spending like $78 for our 3 yr old to go for less than 2 hrs of bounce house fun. Not sure if we can afford to take our kid next year. If they sold wrist bands for $50 or something I’d do it for sure. We barely bought any food since we spent so much at this spot. If you have a kid be wary of spending too much time there

More of a street fair than a "strawberry" festival, honestly it was hard to find stalls with actual strawberry themed items at all. Strawberries and strawberry themed foods were completely sold out of their strawberry items by noon so go early if strawberries are what you're going for.
BUT it was really big there was LOTS Of cool stuff to see, eat, buy, and tons of fun activities for the kids TONS!

I would give this event a 4, but I was going for the damn strawberries ( I wanted strawberry pie, and fresh ones to take home, and strawberry hats and cute trinkets, etc etc... Got none of that)so I was pretty let down when I didn't get what I was looking for. Be prepared. Also parking is impossible, sorry

One of the better one put on your the city of Vista. Many people showed up. Very entertaining and plenty of food booths.

It was alright. I got there later In day. I couldn't find my car. I eventually found It thank goodness.
