I’ve been at Julie nation for a while now and I’ve learned so much. I’m building my future and career here and they made learning acting and modeling fun. They are all very nice and understanding people. Nobody at Julie nation puts pressure on us to do things. The guy that takes pictures for photo shoots is funny and makes you feel more comfortable with different poses and being yourself. In April they have a showcase where agents come and watch you. I know there’s been so many successful people from Julie nation and I highly recommend coming here.

I’m typing this from what discrimination a disabled was given and I don’t want another disabled to go through this… I was in this program for 6 months, and I also went to the IMTA in LA. I would not suggest going here, especially if you have disabilities. I was discriminated for my disabilities. I went through 21 years of epilepsy, and I have brain damage for life thanks to it and more. After lessons, I would simply ask the manager/director to email my mother the information incase I missed something important, and how I have such a hard time with comprehension. My mom barely received any information, and I really needed it to go to her about the IMTA, $4k trip per person, so nothing would go wrong. Day 1 at the IMTA, I was supposed to wear black, but the director did not inform me nor my mom who would have helped me clearly understand what I needed. She did not clearly explain this trip at all to my mother. Several things that were very important to know were not sent to my mom. What’s worse is how the director was very discriminating about my disabilities. People at the IMTA were very curious about my epilepsy story, asked me if I was in college or what job I have, but all I could answer is that I had epilepsy for a long time. The director called a meeting with me and my mom day 2 and said, “Four people in our group have complained about you. You cannot talk about your disabilities. You cannot talk about your epilepsy. And your mom should not be helping you and carrying around your things. YOU need to do it yourself!”. It was completely inappropriate! Discriminating! Especially when she would correct me over nothing @IMTA in front of other classmates. She called me over to talk to her in front of everyone just to tell me I shouldn’t be talking in line and it’s against the rules. I was having panic attacks due to Julie Nation’s leader, the director. She’s not very professional to say such a thing to a student who has disabilities and who paid for such an expensive trip. My mother contacted the CEO of Julie Nation to talk things out, but she had thr directors side and didn’t care to talk really. Completely discriminating. I’ve had 8 brain surgeries, seizures for 21 years (grand-mals), and 50% blind from a PCA stroke. Modeled for 5 years in expression about my epilepsy before I joined Julie Nation Academy. I really didn’t learn that much at all that I already knew about professional modeling. From how the director treated me the entire trip, I’ve had nightmares due to PTSD of the same treatment in high school. High school… I’m 29, graduated early at 17, so it’s been 12 years… It took A LOT to bring it back up, the director did it. A couple students at Julie Nation Acadamy were also very rude to me for who I am. My mom is my proxy for things like this and has been for a long time. She steps in and helps me when I need it, and for someone to tell me I need to do things for myself, when I do the best I can is very upsetting and discriminating to a person with disabilities.

There are people out there who have a disability to care for those who are disabled. This is one of those. Again, if you have disabilities, you do not want to go here… Discrimination, this entire review is my definition for it.

They don't even deserves this one star. They make fun of disabled people. Institutions are said to be a temple of knowledge, but how this management looks, is to make fun of a people regarding their disability. Better find a nice institute for yourself where they consider everyone as equals and treats everyone rightfully.

I've always enjoyed TV commercials and thought I'd love to participate. Julie Nation Academy's Acting and TV Commercial class was a natural step for me.
I've done both print ads and internet and TV commercials thanks to the support from Julie and her staff.
Every time I walk into The Julie Nation Academy for any of her classes, (I've also taken the Personal Development class), I have fun while being challenged at the same time.
Thanks to Julie her staff for their warmth and support; and for the excellent reputation The Academy has in the industry.

Sophia very much enjoyed her classes at Julie Nation Academy, and loves the work she continues to recieve as a model and actress. The most important thing Sophia gained though, was confidence. Making Julie Nation Academy available to my daughter was the single best decision I could ever have made.

The Julie Nation Academy opened up a whole new world to me. The world of acting. Julie Nation Academy, in my opinion, is an academy for all ages. What do you aspire to? Acting, singing, modeling,. speech making, or? Whatever it is Julie Nation Academy can help you accomplish that, bringing out talent that you didn't know you had. I took acting classes and I was a little timid at first. Our teacher put us at ease through different warm up exercises. It was so much fun that I forgot to be afraid.
From that class I was asked to be one of the actors in a River Rock Commercial. It was something that I never dreamed of doing. I am so grateful that I had this opportunity and it feels good to say, "I'm an actor".

I attended Julie Nation about four years ago. Since then I was picked by a major talent agency, starred in numerous commercials and was a main character in a feature film. I can sincerely say that Julie Nation was the catalyst for my career. Julie and Harasyn we're there ever step of the way, I owe them so much.
