A large selection of vinyls, CDs and tapes plus memorabilia and music related toys. To be honest, I didn’t expect to find such a store on Carlsbad and it was a niche surprise. The guys and girls working there were amazing and very helpful. Me and my daughter loved it

Walked in to buy my first vinyl and ended up walking out with four vinyls! Amazing selection, great record store ambiance, and the staff are friendly and knowledgable. I'm stoked because I just got a gift certificate to this place!! 10/10 recommend.

If price is no object for you, Spin Records is a five star choice. Sadly, as a value buyer, it wasn't for me.

Certainly, if new $25+ records were my bag, Spin would be a winner - there's plenty of selection in the $20-$50 zone.

But the used pricing here is beyond ridiculous... Scratched up, hole punched and semi trashed records going for $14-$25 all day here; records that would be anywhere from $5-$12 at any other used record seller. Hell, some of them would be $3 in the kind of condition I saw.

Spin may be worth a look for newbies, but not worth driving any serious distance to if you want to avoid disappointment.

Accessibility: there is a ramp to get up to the store but once you are there, it is not wheelchair accessible Inside at all. The store isles are so thin I barely fit through walking. I had to pass by another person at one point and my body literally touched theirs because we could not fit through without touching. No way a wheelchair would make it through here. I am an ambulatory wheelchair user so I know. It is also very loud inside with the music turned up high, so if you need a more quiet environment, bring ear plugs.

Masks: some of the employees wear masks and some don't. Most guests now are not wearing masks, but I have seen some wear them (as of 4-10-22).

Experience: one of the records I bought here skips on the two record players I have so I called the store and let them know. A really nice woman answered and told me I can come return it for store credit or they can order me a new one! Wow, fantastic service! This is what makes a record store great. When I came in to talk with them about this record, a woman named Sara was incredibly helpful and kind. Thanks so much! I really appreciate this. I will definitely be back to support a business that is nice to their customers.

Fantastic place. Real Record store ambiance. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and cool. The owner, Ken, is the best. Fantastic selection of LPs, CDs, and a wide variety of other great stuff. Go there! Enjoy!

Staff were very friendly, the selection was huge and amazing to look through! Vinyls were priced fairly, Cds priced very well pricrd and i found alot of cds for great prices or good discounts. I would highly recommend!!
