One of the best vintage media stores here. I was really impressed with their selections. They had vinyls, CDs, games, cassettes, consoles, everything! The owner was really nice and helpful with everything. My one problem is that it was quite dim. Best store here!!!

Awesome spot run by cool people near the heart of North Park with tons to offer.
As a record shop they specialize in punk but carry a variety of genres in whatever physical format you want. Not only that, they also have an awesome collection of new/retro video games and accessories for sale. Finally, they also serve as a venue for local bands to perform at! Red Brontosaurus Records is truly a pillar in San Diego's music scene.

What a local record store should be. The only thing i disliked is the CD section was small but still had amazing choice. I bought about 7 CDs at a really good price. The records have a huge selection with literally every genre. There are tons of video games and a very large section of retro games, consoles, and accessories. The owner is really nice and is fun to talk to. Everything about this store is something i would like to have if i owned a record store

Nice little hidden gem. Good place for records, 45’s, vintage video games. Some items are a tad overpriced, but that’s expected. Owner is super nice and very knowledgeable.

Great little record shop. Awesome collection of punk/metal/hardcore. Lots of alternative and classic punk as well. Quite a bit general rock but don't expect your typical bargain bin stuff. This shop really shines with is underground and punk selection. Friendly and helpful staff and ownership. Fair prices, often lower than online and Discogs. Definitely go often because new and cool arrivals don't last long!
