I’m a pharmacist and my colleague and I recently recorded a parody of Michael Jackson’s "Thriller," titled "More Than Fillers," at Harvest Moon Studios, and Mike did an amazing job! He was welcoming, friendly, and full of reassurance for my friend and me, who had never sung or been in a recording studio before. The soundtrack came out awesome! Michael knows he business inside and out. Michael had me come in and lay down drum tracks for a artist he was producing. His communication was wonderful on what he wanted and was very open to my suggestions and collaboration with the songs he had me play on. Michael has a state of the art studio with a brand new Raven board and if you know I'm talking about you know what I'm talking about. I recommend Michael's studio to anyone that is going to lay down tracks, produce an album with him, do voice overs and he even told me he does podcasts on a regular basis. He is all around fantastic!

Michael is the best around! The quality of sound from my music track leaving the studio was amazing and radio ready. Going to Harvest Moon with Michael and his team is going to a place that feels like home, especially from a creative and musical standpoint. Here at Harvest Moon, they’re not just here for your money, but they care about your music and sound as much as you do. Definitely every artist I come across in the Bay Area and the contra costa area that is trying to get the best music out to their fans, I always recommend they come here to Blue Harvest for that industry quality sound. Harvest Moon Studios in downtown Martinez is an awesome place to record. Michael Peterson (owner, engineer, producer) intuitively understands what an artist is going for and is personally invested in the success of the projects he works on and the artists he records. The studio is state-of-the-art and is a very comfortable space to work. Michael is a consummate professional, ensuring excellent sound and quality of the finished product.

I am a full time professional musician, singer/songwriter, performing and recording artist. I started recording at Harvest Moon Studios in 2014. From the beginning of the first project I found that Michael (Peterson) and I had an amazing repor from pre to post production. I've found his professionalism to be second to none, constantly striving for the best quality in every recording. Michael continues to research new gear and techniques to keep everything current and relevant in today's music markets. While Michael is extremely knowledgeable, he is not opposed to entertaining ideas or suggestions that may seem out of the box and I have always appreciated his willingness to accommodate my "crazy ideas" from time to time in the interest of pleasing his client and having an amazing product and a happy customer as the end result. Michael is a breath of fresh air in the recording industry. Combine everything he brings to the table with with a modern, state of the art recording studio and it's pretty hard to go wrong. I am currently working on my fifth album project with Michael. Since the day I walked into Harvest Moon Studios in 2014, I have not even considered recording anywhere else. Double thumbs up!
