This was my first time in this location. Went to the Victims Family record release and listening party. Browsed through the used vinyl section and I instantly flashed back in time. Flipping through the different album covers and looking for that "new" band I never heard of.

The Next Record Store on Mendocino Ave recently acquired its name after a long run as The Last Record Store. With new management, the store has not changed too much. Still a great place to buy new and used vinyl and Cd's. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I purchased two Cd's at a great price today. Glad the store is still here.

Great place to find the classics in vinyl. I always start in the "New Arrivals" bin by the cashier. Frequently I find enough albums, that I don't want to look through the A-Z section. They really have it all. The only other Northbay used record store that's worth visiting is in Mill Valley.

Shopping online will never replace the feeling and unlooked-for surprises of browsing through a record store. This is one of the few places of any type that hits my Gen X nostalgia button in a good way. All generations and genres are well represented and it just feels good to be there.

It was our first time there. They have a good selection of old records and some new ones. They even have casette tapes and CDs. We will definitely go back there.
