Amazing people and flavor filled food. The beef Pattie’s are delicious! The sandwich is filling and tasty. The jerk combo is a great variety of filling, flavor and nutrition. We ate at the fair and it was by far the best bang for your buck. Not over priced and not super fried fatty food.

I bought the food at the Solano county Fair carnival. I ordered veggie stir fry and plantains. I knew the veggie stir fry probably wouldn't have a red beans and rice flavor, or be like Joloff rice, and I've never had Jamaican food before so I have nothing to compare it to. But I have had African food before and I love jollof rice! I love spicy food. Especially from other countries. So I was thinking it'd be kind of similar to Joloff rice, but when I heard veggie stir fry I sort of pictured something more like Chinese food but with different flavors. I also thought maybe it would have a red beans and rice kind of flavor to it too. I took it to go because we were leaving the fair, but when I got home and ate it which was only about 5 minutes away, I was extremely disappointed. This is something I could have whipped up maybe even worse and I am definitely no cook. It has absolutely no flavor it seems to be lacking salt it has no spices in it. I was extremely disappointed to say the least especially considering I spent $20. She gave me a lot of food but what good is it to have a lot of food if the food isn't very good and you don't even like it? The plantains were okay but something about them seems off too like not enough sweetness or sugar or something? Or maybe they're not fully ripe? Maybe it's a fluke it was late in the evening and she is at a fair so maybe they were out of necessary spices but don't sell things then to your customers if that's the case because now I have a bad first impression. I live in Vallejo so it's not like I would have made the trrk to Santa Rosa anyway but it's still disappointing to order Jamaican food and hope for something spicy and tasty and get something extremely plain and bland with no flavor or spices instead. I could have just saved $20 and whipped this up myself at home if I wanted to. When I picture Jamaican food now I'm going to picture this plain food when I know that that doesn't do justice to all Jamaican food. I was hoping that it would be more spicy with more of an exotic Caribbean flavor to it and boy was I disappointed. I gave all five stars for service because the lady at the counter was very nice and friendly and I even feel bad for writing this review but I just can't contain my disappointment.

AWFUL. For $40 order, got enough food to feed a baby. Order the jerk bites which were advertised as not having any bone, got chopped chicken with chopped bone scattered everywhere. On top of all this, it wasn't even jerk, it was bbq sauce. The plantains were under ripe bananas. This place sucked big time. What a rip off

I was blown away by my meal. I had oxtail, rice, plantains, and slaw. It was the best meal I had ever had at the fair. Everyone was friendly and it’s just an awesome experience.♥️♥️

Someone that was actually born in Jamaica and I have extremely high expectations based on the other reviews. The food missed the mark for me but still tasty. One of the few Caribbean restaurant that are worth a try.
