I had the opportunity to attend a live performance at The Barbara Morrison Performing Arts Center in Leimert Park, Los Angeles. The atmosphere was vibrant, filled with fans eager to experience the raw energy of the music. The music was a mix of blues r&b soul and performed by the amazing Los Angeles based L.A. Big Daddy’s. The music filled the room with electrifying energy and soulful melodies that resonated deep within the hearts of everyone present.

It’s a small venue that doesn’t matter where you stand because this place was designed with great sight-lines and good sound. Barbara Morrison was a legendary jazz soul blues artist and singer-song stylist whose career took her around the world and into the hearts of countless fans.

The creation of this wonderful venue is well deserved and will forever be a reminder of her incredible contributions to the community and history of black culture in Los Angeles California USA.

Really great vibes! My friend and I attended a spoken word/live mic event and really enjoyed ourselves. The band was also extremely talented and everyone was kind and welcoming. Would definitely come again the next time I visit LA!

Awesome venue with a variety of shows and events throughout the year. The stage, lighting and seating is the way it should be for a theater and the sound system is superb. I've performed on many comedy shows there and attended music events there as well

Wow it was an amazing experience, I personally meet the beautiful QUEEN Mrs. BARBARA MORRISON, it was wonderful. She's a GREAT singer, we was MESMERIZED AT THE MOMENT SHE STARTED SINGING. Thank you Barbara, and Tim Morganfield for the wonderful welcomed you guys gave to me and my girls. We ❤ you guys.
