I was here for GrowthDay Live. The theatre is very nice. The seats were comfy, and the stage was visible from any seat. It was a great experience.

Terrific venue to see a show. Outside "refreshments" stand plus an upstairs bar; comfortable seats with a fantastic rise from one row to the next (sat in the terrace section) to give nice line of sight to the stage; and a friendly team at the door.

Beautiful theater, amazing architecture. History dates from 1925. We saw the Red Chair production od the Nutcracker by a young ballet troupe. It was excellent!

I had the privilege of seeing the Los Angeles screening of Eno documentary at Alex. Sat in the balcony with clear screen visibility and great audio. Really digged the movie. Go watch it!

We went to this theater for a NBC taping of a Christmas special. It was our first time there. It is an older theater that probably have some really interesting history to it. We arrived early wait in lines on the outside. It was a little congested and confusing, but they did had adequate number of employees managing the lines. Once inside, we were guided to our seats in an orderly fashion. The seating was comfortable and we had a good view of the stage even though we were in the center near the back rows. The sound what's a decent. It is a small to average size theater with one level balcony.
It is worth noting at the theater is located in a revitalized commercial district with several nice restaurants and lounges. We ate at a nice Argentinian restaurant across the street. As a side note, you do get a discount on the public parking for attending the theater.

We had the pleasure of listening to a band that has been touring for over 60 years, the Zombies. They were awesome - still! The only reason I cannot give this beautiful theater 5 stars is because of the poor acoustics. It's a small venue and not a bad seat in the house. I expect I'll be back as the opportunity arises.
