All Souls Procession Finale - Tucson, Arizona

What a blessing to attend this procession, it is ran by volunteers and is only supported by donations.

This year the vibe seemed a bit off.

We attended a few of the events beforehand on Saturday and they just didn’t appear to blend with the past experience we have had when attending all except the Little Angels stayed “true” to the purpose of what “I” thought the event was intended.

I read and found out this isn’t the Day of the day celebration. It has been turning into that over years.

This time also seemed to have more drunk women running around, there seemed to be emphasis on partying, eating & dancing.

I understand balance in all things, I understand activities, food trucks & vendors all create revenue for the events.

It just seemed like the virtue of the event has faded from five years ago.

We went to what I thought was a spiritual concert, the women had an amazing voice, but when she came on it was about dumping a boy or other non-essential songs about the event. However we stayed till her session was over

The second person came on and it started out good then it became repetitive, with the beats that were played, words & percussion were amazing.

Incredible, unforgettable cultural experience; everyone living in the Southwest should make attending/partaking in All Souls Tucson part of their bucket list. The finale here at this location near MSA Annex was wonderful, with great shows and music. Nearby the stage there are several food/drink trucks to select from. All streets near the Annex are closed during the All Souls Finale, so the best place for grabbing an Uber is at the nearby Ramada by Wyndham Tucson (I learned this is the hard way :)).

It was my very first time going to the actual finale rather than just watching the parade from somewhere downtown on congress. It was very very worth it. The show was amazing, There's also really amazing food trucks and vendors to keep you entertained until the show starts. All in all it was an amazing experience.

This was my first year attending the parade, and it was a very moving experience; I had lost multiple loved ones during COVID that I never got to grieve properly. Thank you for giving me a safe space to not only mourn those close to me, but also celebrate them. I plan to go back every year.

I try to make it every year if possible, it's a unique family friendly event and for me personally has been therapeutic and sentimental, I love joining the Walk and Finale events are fun!

What a wonderful gathering to be part of! Great for all ages. Watch or join in, dress up or not. This is one of the greatest holidays that should be embraced by all people. A day to remember all who have lived and celebrate their time & memory. If you know nothing of this day I encourage you to learn and make it a part of your life. The procession brings wonderful feelings of life & energy!

Every year is different but I always appreciate it. The band for 2018 was amazing as well as the other performances. There is usually a theme they do every year and you can see that on their easy to use website.
