I love this community park. I was an active member of the Alread Community when we started it. I enjoy going back every year for one of the planned events and seeing what additional work has been done to it. They have an impressive fireworks show and a Music Festival with vendors, horseshoe tournament, salsa (and chips not dance) contest, silent auction fundraiser to benefit the park, scholarship fund, local fire dept. Whatever the needs are this is a community that meets them. There are currently 3 open structures one the property. Some picnic tables, playground equipment and space to play about any kind of ball. Work is ongoing. Pack a picnic lunch and enjoy a break while taking a drive along beautiful scenic Hwy 16.
