Very interesting history of the Bankhead family in general. Only one room is focused on Tallulah. Also contains history of Walker County.

The hours online are incorrect. I've posted a picture with the correct times and a picture of the historical marker located on the premises. I was unable to tour the house because the hours listed online were incorrect, but it was still an interesting visit.

Great exhibits about people from Walker County and rotating exhibits from around the world. Free to the public, outdoor special events in the summer, great place to bring students.

We came to hear a concert at the amphitheatre and it was wonderful. What a cozy, intimate atmosphere. The tours of the house are reported to be amazing. A history lesson is Jasper. What a great place. They do concerts and movies here. Free popcorn. Dollar waters. If you are here come down and take a listen. It was great!
