My only interaction with Suzzanne was fairly similar to other's I've had with 'industry' apparatus in Alabama. It was another example as to why I network in Georgia only. Due to the name itself, I'd heard of BM yet placed it on the periphery of what I considered a 'last change network.' I also knew a guy from home who'd used her. Yet Suzzanne posted on Facebook advertising for extras. So, I figured it be a seemless solicitation with 5 background credits and one stage credit to my resume. I made it clear in my response via email that I knew I was underqaulified for full roles and was only seeking to add my name to a registry of back ground talent. She treated me as if I was so green I did not know the difference between the two departments of her company. It was a condescending tone of: 'we only work with trained by classes and vetted artist.' She then blocked my email from any further questions or critiques. The third thing I noticed that was peculiar was that she CC'd the extra's casting arm of her company and their email when she gave me her message that I was not to send in any more information. In conclusion, it appeared to me that it was more of a personal beef over something as superficial as not liking my photos or the history I had accrued acting not really investigating fully what I'd accomplished. I will give her credit in taking my call. Yet, again she acted as if I'd be wasting my time going through her agency to be casted as background by trying to insinuate that she only was able to confer me to projects in the Mobile Bay area, with me living in Northeast Alabama. I knew a guy who she got a job for over in Atlanta as an extra in 2023. This was also after she advertises on a consistent basis that she does help cast prospects for background work over in Georgia and all over the region. Giving credit where credit is do, Suzzane did take my call and offered up quick advice on how to get better access to agencies like hers. She told me about a website to list my specialties concerning talent. There was some effort made during voice interaction. Yet, that was all shaded in a negative fashion by what took place online. I'm sure she gets tons of unsolicited and unqualified solcitations and is primed to go through them in haste at times. I've considered that. She is screening herself from angry solicitors she brushes off. Yet, I was a fairly polished background actor, who knew 'their lane' fairly well, in regard to what I could do and not do. I highlighted this in my email. What she didn't read into to well was that I had training in an acting class while a student at an accredited university (Alabama). What she didn't get to learn, if she'd been more considerate, was that I was offered a small speaking role in Talladega Nights during a season of amateur stand up comedy. Having to turn it down after starting a new job that caused scheduling conflicts. For any endeavor involving casting for shows and movies, go over to Atlanta. This is the latest of a few examples of seeing a little more polish and professionalism just over state lines compared to what we've got here in state. Everytime I engage over there, I'm enjoying myself. Here it seems I'm getting aggrevated at someone for a trivial reason.
