Benton Vinyl

After months of trying to find time to drive the hour trip to this shop, I finally found a free Saturday. Admittedly his collection isn’t as vast a some of the other vinyl shops in the area, but what it lacks in quantity, it makes up for in a friendly and knowledgeable owner. Kent promptly introduced himself and we instantly started talking about music. You can tell he genuinely loves music and is actively adding to his collection. You don’t get that kind of comradely in soulless big box music establishments. Not only that, he openly supports other local music shops. There’s something to be said about an owner who wants to see the local music community thrive. He has records for sale, turntables, and other music accessories. Plus, if you are interested in learning how to play guitar … he offers that too. I’ll continue to support his business and if you love music, I hope you will too.

Excellent selection of records! Spent some time in this store chatting up the owner and browsing through a wide selection of classics. We found a few gems and were so excited to head out and listen to them that we didn’t realize we forgot one of our records. The owner was nice enough to chase us down and make sure we got what we paid for. Will definitely be coming back!

Nice place of business with a good selection of vinyl. Everything from V Halen to T Swift.
