We went in February. It happened to rain that day, but still didn’t stop us from going into heated pool with the big Jacuzzi as well. I like the fact that there’s a nice low-key bar right in front of the hotel entrance and the music was good 90s rap R&B, which is my type music. Definitely got some good drinks and good vibes. Didn’t do too well at the casino, but this place was very low-key. I like the scenic route when driving there. This is definitely a good spot to take kids. It has a big arcade and a big bowling alley. No room service and the walk from the hotel to the casino. Back-and-forth was tiring.

Had a great trip with my family. We weren't familiar with the area and were visiting friends in town and found this place. The rooms were clean and big, staff was friendly and there was a lot of things to do with my kids. My kids loved going to Elevate which is similar to Sky Zone. They even had an arcade and bowling alley which we didn't get to try but looked like a lot of fun. It was convenient that they have restaurants in the casino. I got a prime rib for a great deal! It's so convenient that they have valet parking for free and a gas station on site too. Would definitely stay again . Great experience!

Black oak casino used to be one of my favorite places to visit until about 4-5 years ago I was treated like a second class citizen in the sports bar restaurant downstairs the waiter's were ignoring us and tried to wait but took forever so we left and haven't been back. So I started going to the chicken ranch casino. They built a new casino and I was not impressed the old place was way better. So I am going to go to black oak casino this weekend because I want to give them a second chance because I used to love going there with family and friends. I hope after this weekend I will be a regular visitor again. I will update my review after this weekend. Went there on Sunday super bowl weekend and had a great time watching the game and playing some slots definitely coming back and having some more fun in the future 👍🙏💯😎

We’ve been here several times for meals and activities. This was our first time staying here and was very disappointing due to the experience with their staff. A place like this should be all about ensuring an excellent customer experience and building a loyal customer base, but very disappointing time here so far! What a bummer. And since there were multiple issues right after check in, I don’t know if they will realize that I spent $0 in their restaurants, activity center, nor on property as our family had zero interest in supporting a business/casino that treats patrons poorly. That’s not a good biz model, and is a good way to end up like so many others who went under after losing a connection with their customer base.

My recent visits have been pleasant w their semi loose machines make my time spent there worthy of it’s time spent.
Unlike when I first had visited there $40 -$100 use to go so fast where now I can easily be there for a good hour or two sometimes longer if I choose to be..
there water park is a little over rated looks like they just built it where the hotel swimming pool once was, and it’s only for the rv campers who stay there. But to be honest their rv campers are probably what. Exceed the legal amount of ppl allowed in its small water park zone..

Never have I gone into a casino and felt more uncomfortable. This was our second visit; it's been a while and we thought it would be a nice drive up. As soon as we got in and tried to get our player's card, the customer service was short and rude. I felt judged for my age and kept getting stared out by the security at each machine I played at. Not only that, but they discriminate you by giving you a wrist band to wear to indicate you've been carded and verified your age. What kind of service is this? Do better. Won't be back for another five years or more.

One of my favorite California casinos. Good selection of slots and tables and dining. Staff is extremely professional helpful and friendly. Has both smoking and non smoking sections. The hotel is under remodel but is turning out to be even better than before. Haven't stayed in the RV park yet but definitely intending to. The ONLY downside to the location. It's a bit of a drive and majority of the roads are twisty turny and hilly but it is well worth the drive!!!

A lot of friendly staff, new warm pool with music for entertainment, clean casino, but grumpy dealers, unable to make friends or socialize, people keep to themselves... Garage Parking is ample and free, but outdoor parking is a work in progress.. great tasty food in the restaurants, tasty and friendly servers
