This company has been promoting live musical concerts for over 25 years. They are particularly well known for their Smooth Jazz and Contemporary Jazz concerts. The owner Roland has an excellent reputation in the industry as being honest and fair, and for going the extra mile to make sure everyone feels welcome and enjoys the live events.

The Promoter of this organization event (Roland's Intimate Jazz Getaway) is definitely lacking in integrity and character. Let me explain my perception on this. I recently bought a package for a 3 day event in Melbourne (Roland's Intimate Jazz Getaway), I like the line up so much I promoted to my family members.

However due to unforeseen circumstances I could not attend. So I sought out the promoter, well in advance of the event, an inform him of not being able to attend and if there was anyway I could get a refund. He told me he would try to get me a partial refund, but could not guaranteed it.

The promoter resold my package and told me he could only provide a little over $700 of the $1857.00 paid in full package could be return. I was not upset as it was my fault that I could not attend.

However, the promoter contact me on 3 separate occasion telling me essentially the check was in the mail, i.e., Oct 28th, Nov8th and finally Nov 13th. Now as previously stated I ask if I could get a refund and was told I got one. I have the 3 emails were the promoter assured me each time the check was in the mail.

An each time. It never arrived. An after each time of contacting him in reference to the situation they continued with they will get the "CHECK IN THE MAIL". Well as you may of guess. That check is never coming an in truth. I no longer expect it.

However, This shows me that this promoter integrity an character, as other such promoter such as the recent event with Travis Scott that cause the lives and injury of so many. These promoter only care about profit and care nothing about the patrons that support the artist or the events.

LESSON LEARN. I will be spreading the words and if requested I will provide the 3 CHECK IN THE MAIL emails, which are obviously a mis-direction to cover up their lack of business ethics and integrity.

As I'm a member of the world wide Jazz community as I attend events across the United States and Internationally, i.e., Newport Jazz Festival, San Jose Jazz Festival, Life Lux Jazz festival. I will be spreading the word about the integrity of the Brevard Music Group Customer service policy.
