Cactus House Recording has become a place of fun and creative music production for me. It’s an approachable, affordable, and innovative studio with high quality equipment and sound engineering skills. For anyone with interests in creating and recording any kind of sound at any level, casual or serious, I highly recommend this studio.

* Approachable: Trevor Gabriel, the owner, producer, and sound engineer of the studio is very friendly and understanding. I’m just a hobbyist singer-songwriter with zero confidence in my voice and guitar, but Trevor is very patient and made the process of performing and recording so fun at a relaxed pace.

* Affordable: Great value at affordable rates. You’ll get a lot for your money at this studio.

* Innovative: In Silicon Valley, innovation comes from collaboration and iteration with no fear of errors and mistakes by trying new things. The recording process with Trevor is exactly that. I’ve been very impressed by the sound we created.

Have done a few recording sessions with Trevor at Cactus House Recording. Trevor is very knowledgable and helpful for us to understand the recoding process and use studio equipment to help in tracking our songs. We plan to continue working with Trevor for our album including tracking, mixing, and mastering. It has been great working with Trevor and look forward to continuing our recoding journey.

Trevor is the man! I've tracked at Cactus House a few times now and it's a great place to record. Good vibes and a nice sounding room, what more do you want? Trevor is very professional and he works quickly to dial in mics + gear so that you can start tracking immediately.

We recorded an EP and album with Trevor at Cactus House Recording. We’ve had 3 sessions total and every session is better than the last as Trevor dials in our sound! The studio itself is cozy and welcoming, with lots of instruments and amps at our disposal. Trevor is an excellent recording engineer and did a great job mixing our tracks. One stop shop for mixing, mastering, and distribution. We can’t wait to get back in the studio. Also, the kitties Miso and Ash are super cute and fun to hang out with when not tracking. Erika is the sweetest and makes you feel right at home.

Trevor is the man!!! Our band stopped by here to get our new single recorded and Trevor was courteous, patient, and thorough during the recording session. A lovely studio in the mountains with top-notch equipment, and a caring producer who’ll help you nail down the sound you desire.
