Wonderful Bastille Day themed concert! Maestro Vener is always entertaining and educational. The orchestra was great! Selections from Les Misérables were terrific and superbly performed. Excellently supported by the CalPhil Chorale. Never disappointed by CalPhil concerts!!!

Wow! These guys are rockstars!! Got me incredible seats and their concerts are breathtaking at Walt Disney Concert Hall. The staff at the office is so kind and very helpful with processing my group order. This orchestra has been through it all and still is making progress with their great customer service and incredibly talented maestro and musicians!

We have had season tickets for five years and absolutely love the performances at the Disney. That said, this will probably be our last year due to horrible customer service and zero communication. Cases in point,
1: 1 1/2 weeks before the first performance and still no tickets. Worst of all, telephone people have no idea when and if the tickets will be sent out thus make up answers. Recent answers, "early june", "mid june", "they are in the mail", "they are in the mail", "they are in the mail", " They will be mailed out today and tomorrow", "you can pick them up at will call", "all of our season ticket holders will receive a telephone call".
2: There was no notification that the first performance was cancelled. No answer as to when and if season ticket holders would get a refund. There answer, we will figure it out at the end of the season.
3: Why the delay and total lack of reliable information? Well, the volunteer telephone operators say there has been a change in management and the person in charge came down with appendicitis. Come on folks, that is about as unprofessional as one can get.

Look, I understand that the office is now being run by unpaid volunteers and that they have not been given reliable information to pass on to season ticket holders. I do not blame the volunteers but Cal Phil needs to make some major changes in it's management team. The "new management" sucks and should be fired asap.
