A relatively new addition to Cesar Chavez Park, the Outdoor Open-air Ampitheater was part of a major park improvement project completed in 2015. Located along the western bank of Alvord Lake in Laveen, the Ampitheater, and Cesar Chavez Park recently hosted the 66th Annual Laveen BBQ in February 2018. The BBQ be is organized by volunteers who serve on the Laveen Community Council. The LCC is a non-profit group that raises money and gives back all profits to the community such as donations to many, many community groups & scholarships to Laveen graduates. Our sponsors support us, thank you!!!
