We have family who have recently moved to Chadron. They have jobs so it leaves us with some time to look around. I would take a nap. Wife would like to "get to know each other better" after 40 years. We compromise by doing touristy things 😉.
So, being touristy, what better place to go than the Chadron Chamber of Commerce and tourist center!!
Very nice facility. Lots of brochures and booklets about Western Nebraska things to see and do. One very nice lady who laughed at a couple of my goofy jokes and pleasantries was on duty at the time we were there. That could have been a problem since my wife often scolds people who do that "for encouraging him when he does that! Do you know how many times I have had to listen to that 😂"?
My only disappointment was finding no free steaks promoting cattle country. Oh well I found several very good restaurants in the area since I didn't fill up on free food.
