Interesting …I had a very good experience here! Chance did excellent work on the Floyd Rose setup for my Ibanez! Additionally, he took extra time to refresh my very worn frets, their board, all of it. Finally, he took extra time to locate and order a cover that was missing! I’ve not previously met this guy! All that for someone who just walked in one day. ~ Super fair pricing and great work. Thanks very much!

Don't go to if you want a floyd rose set up, I paid him 200 dollars to get it set up yet when I got it back after 3 to 5 days, the floyd rose was an obscene amount of distance off of the guitar. Other than that he seems like a nice guy.

I would not recommend going to this store to have your instruments worked on based on my experience, the owner, Rafael, worked on my resonator guitar and I had to take it to another store to get it fixed, had to buy a part and pay again, the store is often closed during hours it’s supposed to be open, he sticks a note on the door, waited a half hour once and he still had not returned. Store is only open 4 days a week for 6 hours!

My review is accurate, it is based on my experience with his work on one of my guitars, it was repaired elsewhere to correct what was done by Rafael at Chance Gardner Music. Later he did get involved with my wife of nearly 16 years while we were together, she is now my ex-wife, I only addressed the work he did on my resonator guitar and my review had nothing to do with him personally, he chose to bring that nightmare into this.

I moved to Palm Coast not to long ago and had been driving to Jacksonville and Daytona to receive very sub par tech work. I got recommended to Chance by a fellow guitarist and when my favorite guitar wouldnt produce any sound (Music Man Cutlass with active pickups) I was heartbroken and took my guitar to Chance to see if he could help. He took the time to see if it was an obvious fix while I was there but we were both a little stumped and said he would have it figured out within 3days as he was just closing for the day. I was not hesitant in letting him know how much I loved the guitar and would do whatever it took to be fixed. I was shocked when he gave me a call the next day and let me know my guitar was ready to be picked up. It ended up being a minor issue that no new parts were needed and all I was charged was an hour of labor at a very reasonable rate.
It is amazing to have someone I trust I can bring my equipment to for anything needed. NEVER bring your equipment to any of the big chains. Just check Reddit if you need proof. When you go in the shop it just looks like a real tech/luthier shop where you can feel the hours of work Chance has put in. It’s also evident by the amount of old school musicians I have connected with while in Chance’s shop.
If you made it this far don’t hesitate to trust Chance with your prized possession!

What a great place! Chance is the man! He was able to repair a very old special guitar for me and bring it back to life. I was told it could not be done, but Chance made it happen! Thanks brother. He also does custom builds and has a whole lot to offer at his music shop. And his manager Eli keeps everything in perfect tune!

Great music store! I bought a nice acoustic guitar and other stuff I needed. I just started playing so Chance hooked me up with his instructor AJ. I have learned so much in a short period of time and I actually play music with AJ now. His studio is nice and big. Lessons are never boring and lots of fun!

A real guitar shop with just about anything you could ever need. New and used. I've purchased 2 guitars from here, and im very selective. And if they don't have it, they can get it for a very fair price! BTW this is where I would take my guitars to get setup or repairs!
