Had an amazing time at the fair. It was busy but had plenty of room, big parking lot. Tons of things to do. My daughter had a blast riding horses. Just a great time, there were also great concerts there at night. I will be going back every year I feel.

We recently attended the hot air balloon festival at Clay County Fairgrounds, and it was an unforgettable experience. The laser show was amazing and added a magical touch to the evening. The fairgrounds are incredibly spacious, offering plenty of room to spread out a picnic blanket and enjoy the spectacle.
In addition to the fantastic event itself, the amenities at the fairgrounds were top-notch. There was ample parking available, ensuring a hassle-free arrival. The staff were amiable and welcoming, making the experience even more enjoyable. We were also impressed by the streamlined check-in process, which was efficient and well-organized.
I highly recommend the Clay County Fairgrounds for any future events. We look forward to returning for the next hot air balloon festival!

I went here a year or two ago and I thought it wasn't to good but this year they had everything organized better. I'm not sure if it's because I went on a weekday or if it's overall just a better fair now but this visit was a lot friendlier and easier to enter and exit. The show too was amazing, they had Bret Michael's of the band Poison performing he's an awesome performer and the seats on the bleachers are FREE. it was a great show, great fair, and free show after you pay admission to get in. $15 entrance this year im not sure if they will raise it next year

Clay County and the organizational efforts that go into the Fair are obvious, the fair ran smoothly and the food was good, and the entertainment (King and Country) was excellent. The prices were very good considering the state of the economy.

Man, we had so much fun. The rides were great, and the food was wonderful. Lots of animals and other exhibits. We'll definitely go back.

This sweet fair packs a punch, from the animal barns and the racing pigs to the traditional fair rides but the best part is the Early Florida Village. Early Florida demonstrators are dressed in early period costumes serving sample foods and exhibiting skills from the period. While strolling under the shade tress listen to the live music in the music shed or take a turn at grinding corn or listen to a story by relatives of ancestors from days gone by. The Clay County Extension office has a demonstration garden with many different types of growing methods. Children can pump water, use a wash board, hang clothes on a line and push a rotary lawn mower. The church usually has music and singing but it’s also just peaceful to sit in and reflect while all the fair excitement is left behind. The small animal barn manned by 4H volunteers allows you to hold and pet various animals.
Once you pay your entry fee you will find so many free things to do and watch that you literally could not spend a dime, except for food and drink. Take a ride on the free cow wagon, watch one of the magic acts, or a Frisbee dog disc demonstration and don’t forget to watch the glassblowing exhibit or visit the cow milking demonstration. This small town fair is a not miss experience!

We had a really great time at the fair. Enjoyed seeing the many different attractions here.Lots of food here to choose from. We were able to see some of the truck pull that was happening. That was exciting and loud to. Lots of power with those trucks. Over all great experience. Wonderful evening at the fair.
