The staple for children’s musical theatre. CMT has changed my daughter’s life. It is a prestigious program, lots of diversity in kids and shows, great price and they go the extra mile to make sure the shows are amazing.

Review for CMT San Jose Winter Camp (Grade 1 Attended)

The camp was overcrowded, with too many kids per staff member, making it difficult for younger children to get the attention they needed. The one-week timeline felt rushed, especially considering they had to prepare for a recital. Unfortunately, the recital itself was poorly prepared, likely due to the short timeframe and large class size. Grouping Grade 1-3 together didn’t seem ideal— a Kinder to Grade 1 class would have made much more sense in terms of skill level and experience. Overall, the experience was disappointing, and we won’t be considering it again for any camp program.

After attending Freaky Friday performance, I could not believe the ages of the children in the production. Fascinating, exciting, talents in every act. Bravo to the full team. Great job. Everyone should see the works of this group. Certainly worth the value in support of youth in San Jose.

My 7 year old daughter absolutely loved attending San Jose Children's Musical Theater! They put on a fantastic show and really create a welcoming environment for kids.

The teenage cast is consistently at professional level of performance. I have not yet seen the younger casts, but what I have seen has been extremely high-quality. I like that they wear little microphones so I can actually hear them clearly.

It's one of the coolest places to take your kiddos! Relax your mind, get off your phone, and have fun with your little one! The phone can wait because YOUR child/children NEED YOU more than that phone does!! Life is happening all around us, ALL THE TIME! AND THIS place is in a great location for family activities. If you don't put down that phone, you're going to miss all the wonderful things your little one(s) can AND will learn in this lifetime. DON'T MISS OUT on the excitement & surprised expressions your little cutie experiences in life through the wonderful and wonderous joys of learning about the world they (and you!!) live in...through science and exploration at the San Jose Children's Museum!!! And remember, put down your phone!! Take a few pictures, sure, but LET YOUR EYES TRULY SEE THE JOY OF LEARNING, THROUGH THE EYES OF A CHILD!💖

This was my first visit to a CMT production, and it did not disappoint. The singing was professional level, they could sell records. They put in so much work, and it all showed up on stage. Recommended!
