I’ve been to Coast Music band and student showcases in the South Bay for several years, and I am consistently blown away by the talent of these students! It’s incredible to see how confidently they perform and how much fun they are having, and that’s largely because of positive environment the music teaching staff creates. My 10 year olds attended the week long summer camp this year and last year at Coast. We did the 1/2 day last year and the full day this year. The absolutely loved it! It was their favorite camp. The band leaders are amazing and they do a good job of letting all the kids try out different instruments and getting them to work together on everything from song choice to band name. Highly recommend!
