November 2024:
Did a little research and found this highly rated brewery near LAX. Sampled three hazy IPAs and a West Coast style IPA. All were nice and light. Not heavy nor danky.

There were two food options in the back. One had burgers and fries. The other had chicken wings and fries. We went with the wings! Paired well with the 🍺.

Seating was available inside and outside on the patio. Was a nice spot to hang out. DJ started blasting music at 7pm. So was hard to hear any conversations.

Overall, good spot to enjoy a 🍻 and food.

Excellent per usual! If you're ever down this way, you have to come to Common Space! Fantastic beer 🍺 & relaxed vibes! Try the chubby unicorn! I bring home a pack every time I come through! It's soooooo bomb & I don't even usually like lighter beers! It's a lil sweet though, just FYI, but it's a must try!

Super nice staff, and they have special events ALL THE TIME! My favorite is called "plant based" where they have vegan food vendors outside & lots of fun shops inside that sell their wares! This time, it was their first of 2 spooky theme days (the other being closer to Halloween.

All the goth lovers united over coffin shaped skateboards & Freddy Kruger, Swamp Thing & Chucky themed memorabilia. Just great times! The other "plant based" they do is when nurseries come & sell their exotic plants 🪴! The mango tree I got last year is about to flower & is from there! It's just a great spot to bring a date & even your kiddos. Dog friendly & inclusive to ALLLLLL people, so if the gay flag, people in wheelchairs & BIPOC folks are not your jam, this won't be your tease. Go be boring (and awful) elsewhere... but if you're looking for great people, vibes, beer & dogs? Oh, you need this place. 😃👍🏽

I just had my 50th party in the Gallery, one of the private event spaces at Common Space Brewery. I cannot rave about my experience with this venue and the staff more! The team at Common Space is outstanding! Every question I had: answered. Every time I wanted to visit to get a sense of the layout: done. The ease I had in communicating what I wanted, when I needed it by- all super simple. Also, the private venue space has a license to serve wine as well as beer to give guests more options. Common Space has lots of vendors, or you can choose your own, which makes your event fully customizable to fit your needs and budget. I also had a singer with a guitar: very easy to set up! The final result was everything I could have hoped for: a fun, beautiful space, that was easy to plan. I had so many guests tell me that they loved the venue. It truly was the perfect spot. If you need a space to host your next event, call the folks at Common Space. They are a pleasure to work with and will help you set up your perfect party.

This is one of the best breweries I have ever gone to. I tried the following drafts on tap (all 4 to 5 oz options):
Stress Dissolver (Blackberry Sour)
Chubby Unicorn (Guava Milkshake IPA)
Forget Me Not (Black IPA)
Hammock Street (Helles Lager)
Hello Handsome (Triple Hazy IPA)

The Chubby Unicorn is very close to one of the best beers I have ever had. I really liked the Guava flavor in the beer. The atmosphere was great with the dim lights indoors and a decent outdoor patio type seating arrangement right outside the Brewery rolling door with hanging lights on the perimeter. There is plenty of parking available in the back of this building where the entrance is. The paintings/colors on the tops and bottoms of the masonry walls are a nice touch. Very colorful place with a vast amount of beers on tap. Loved this place and if I'm ever in the Hawthorne area again, I would hit this place up.

Got to experience this brewery today thanks to my awesome sister who is a frequent visitor. The beers were delicious. I got the Yay, Sayer IPA. We also got some sliders that were super tasteful. The fries were lightly garlic flavored and seasoned. It was all a great patio with the beers.

I came for the World Cup to cheer on the USWNT and had a blast! Angel City and LAFC were hosting the event and it was filled with fans and beer lovers. The selection had something for everyone and it was a great spot for lots of different food trucks.
