Old theater showing some classic movies. This is a large movie theater with plenty of seats. It's a first come type of seating. Wish it was a 35mm projector, but sadly, it's not.
The venue is a classic. They've had some great concerts too.
Go enjoy downtown and catch a movie 🎬.

Saw steve-o here, so immediately makes the experience fantastic, but more specifically the seats were roomy and you had a good view of the stage regardless how far back you were. The concessions stand was full of fair priced snacks and drinks, and their was even a connection door to a little bar if you want something a little stronger. Would gladly come back to see some more shows!

Building's getting pretty run down and the seats are pretty narrow. Acoustics are decent. The brickwork in the sublevel tavern is pretty neat (think old subway). Getting around downtown Sacramento is never fun. Best evening parking seems to be at the City Hall parking structure.

I was horrified by the lack of security at this venue. This is a mass shooters paradise.
The seats here are extremely close to one another with almost no legroom.
I was pretty impressed with the decor and styling of the building. Also a great bar downstairs!!

Always love the Crest theater, so gorgeous. Acoustics were great. Downstairs bar is a little inconvenient, but not really. Just leave yourself a little time to get a drink.

The crest. Is an awesome old movie theater. That has been restored. They still show movies. But I have only been there for live shows. The staff have all been super friendly. The decor is very ornate, and the seats are pretty comfortable. Parking and walking through downtown Sacramento is a bit of an adventure. But it's worth it for the shows I've seen.
