I entered the car show with a custom painted Hawaiian themed newer model Camaro. I have a bumping sound system that receives alot of compliments at the shows. I play reggae to go with the car theme. So a guy parked his 67 mustang next to me and then moved within a few minutes because he didn't like the music. Then some old tall guy walked by shaking his head. So I laughed at him and turned it up because someone else wanted to hear it as well. A few minutes later someone from the contest asked me to turn it down because 2 people complained. This show caters to old white Karens. I'm white but these people make me ashamed to be white! Will never step foot in their community again! Cypress owes me $25!

This annual event is held on the 4th Saturday in July at Oak Knoll Park in Cypress, CA. We love the Kiwanis Club Pancake Breakfast, Chili Cookoff, Car Show & live entertainment. Great family activity!

2018: Variety of vendors. Free music. Lots of things to see and buy for everyone. Plenty of shade and places to sit and rest your feet after long walk.

2019: Back at this event again. Still plenty of fun and live music. However, the car show and the chili cook-off events are
getting smaller each year. It seems like the chili cook-off lost about 1/3 of contestants this year.
