I’ve traveled all over recording with well known artists and musicians. From Nashville , Atlanta, and back home to Alabama. Dolphin Street Sound is a top-notch recording studio. One of the best experiences that I’ve had within the industry. They have solid hardware and great people that are easy to work with. This time around Ryan was my engineer. He has a great ear, and a great awareness of workflow. I truly appreciate Dolphin Street Sounds for their contributions to the music, and helping elevate my home town.

This place is top-notch! Keylan and the team at DSS do a fantastic job of communicating and understanding your specific artistic direction. And they will make you sound great! Every step in the process has been amazing and the final product sounds sounds incredible. I highly recommend using them for your next project. Look man, this is not your buddy’s home studio. I dropped into the Dauphin Street Sound (DSS) for a surgical strike to produce a voiceover masterclass in voice acting. It required multiple microphones for simultaneous recording in two rooms for live performances and a Zoom connection. Half of what was needed from a tech perspective was not communicated to DSS until we arrived with 15 people! DSS didn't miss a beat. They listened carefully to what we needed and MADE IT HAPPEN. A 9-hour day felt like 4 hours because the tech and expertise of the engineers was perfection. I work mostly in LA and NY, and in my professional opinion Dauphin Street Sound is as good or better. I extend my deepest gratitude and appreciation to Kyle and Josh (audio Gods) for all they did ensure our success. Bravo. ?

This Incredible Industry Standard Studio has not only a plethora of top of the line gear, the staff is knowledgeable & friendly, lending to a positive environment for optimum creativity . Having recorded at Ca's legendary Plant Studios (Sausalito, Ca), Hyde Street (San Francisco) and Prairie Sun (Cotati, Ca), I specifically chose DSS for my new southern produced cd based on all of the above. DSS also works with your time & budget . We look forward to our CD release of Lauren Murphy & The Psychedelics , and to doing more work with this studio in the future

I've been using DDS to record my EP and the equipment there is just incredible! when I am there, all of the staff make me feel like I am their guest and are always are great to work with. If you're wanting to record tracks in the Mobile/Baldwin county area, I highly recommend Dauphin Street.

I reached out to Dauphin Street Sound for mixing work after recording a six-song demo at home. The studio is like Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory for musicians. It is packed with the best analog and digital gear money can buy, tastefully designed for maximum sonic character, and staffed with some of the nicest people you could ever meet. They also have great rates for independent artists.

I was hesitant to put my music into someone else’s hands, but Chief Engineer Keylan Laxton’s technical ability and creativity took the mixes to another level entirely. If you’re looking for that “analog sheen” and the chance to work with some very talented, laid-back people, Dauphin Street Sound is where you need to go!

I’ve never felt more at home in a studio environment. Staff was welcoming and made sure I was taken care of, despite the odd hours I needed to record my audiobook. Rate was affordable, gear is world class, the space is world class and the staff took great care. 10/10 would recommend
