This is the place for you!

I was impressed by the Midwest hospitality here as well as how busy they are on a Sunday afternoon in the middle of ‘nowhere’.

It is worth the trip.

Records of all types:

Little ones
Big ones

My sons purchased a couple very fascinating anime soundtracks, yes, they even have a few of those. I was so impressed with these soundtracks I wanted to go see the little store they kept talking about.

I picked up a new Band Of Horses album on sale.

Grabbed a few used 45s.

Picked through the used CDs.

Looked at all the old record players tucked into every corner.

Tried to get the record store owners little dog cutie to let me pet it.

Browsed with my record store coffee in hand.

Took pictures of my three sons.

Chatted with the teller about cool bands we should listen to.

Brought up those bands to listen to them on the way home!

This is a must see and browse location.

Phenomenal record shop, excellent selection of older and new vinyl albums. Plus top notch service with great customer service. They can order and preorder the music that you want. It's amazing to finally go to listening parties for new music as well. Highly recommend

A friend of mine and I went here after hearing about a listening party that we couldn’t make it to. It was such a cute little place! We weren’t expecting how great it was! Had some vinyls I wasn’t expecting to be there! The man there was super nice and even gave me some left over goodies from the listening party I missed! Will definitely come back again and support a smaller business rather than a bigger chain stores! Bringing another friend next time we are down in Joplin to show her the greatness!!!

Great place with a great selection! Came here for the Greta Van Fleet album release listening party and it was awesome! The owner provided pizzas which was super cool and there were free posters as well as slip mats. Ended up buying a couple of albums and really had a great time. Will be back!

This place is incredible!!! As soon as you walk in, you are teleported back to another time! The record selection is outstanding. The guys working here were so helpful and extremely friendly. Everyone needs to check this place out at least once!

Dig It! Record Barn is fantastic! They have a great selection of new and pre-owned vinyl, as well as CDs, shirts and more. The staff is super friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere is great. I will be returning for all of my future record purchases

I'm so glad places like this still exist. It seems like they're all fading away into the past. Good selection of vinyl to choose from and search around for. Everyone working there was very helpful and nice.

A wide selection of both modern and older records (as well as CDs and cassettes) ranging across multiple genres from metal to showtunes, packaged in a eccentric location (a literal barn) and staffed by friendly and knowledgeable individuals. They also offer a variety of accessories and artist merch, and if they don't have something you're looking for, they'll offer to order it for you.

They're also quite courteous and fair in their conduct of business. When I had asked about an aftermarket elliptical stylus and they weren't sure if their current stock would be compatible with my player, instead of trying to push a sale, they recommended me to a specialized store. When I had misunderstood a sale they were running and purchased an album from the wrong rack, they respectfully cleared up the misunderstanding and immediately offered to refund my purchase.
