Oh my heart! This place is 🔥! The vinyl curation is incredible, although on the pricier side. This record shop caters to Latin American music and I don’t know any other shop in the Bay Area like this. They also host music related events so check their IG to learn what’s going on. Cool and knowledgeable staff. Worth a visit! I want all the music from here.

The employee Alex was very friendly and helpful, he was very knowledgeable and gave us a good deal, the store has a great selection of Jazz, Salsa, Rock, Cumbia, and Cuban music. Will be back great stores

This spot has made dreams come true. I’ve scored some of my favorite records here. The Discodelic crew provides the craziest rare 45s, LPs and performances. Check their ig. There’s always some awesome event to check out every month. There selection is far from run of the mill, stuff you can’t even find online…Stocked with ogs, the best choices of reissues, and likely half of your Discogs wantlist is if you like Latin funk, jazz, soul, psych and reggae and more. Discodelic is truly a rare gem.
The staff is happy to play and recommend killer music for any level of collector.
Bonus tip: check the YouTube channel for discodelicos live sets at the shop. Killer djs!

Weird vibes. Staff is knowledgeable but when I asked for recommendations the first question was about how much I’d be willing to spend. Vinyl is also extremely overpriced… I’ve been to other record shops that were much more welcoming and where the staff was passionate about music, not about making a quick buck. Would not come back and recommend serious diggers go elsewhere 🙁

Store is cool. Came by to check it out and compare it with other record stores in the city. Not really catered to the community/neighborhood and mostly for the tourists who like spending $50 on vinyl. I’ve seen the same records for less at other places even the thrift. Like most things on this street it’s really expensive so proceed with caution.

Very well curated selection. The salsa music section in particular is nuts. I just wish the records were either cheaper or in better shape. Paying $40+ for VG quality vinyl is wild even if the music itself is great.
