This place has a huge assortment of goods, which is good, but don’t be fooled by the name of the store. I bought some 18”x 18” x 18” moving boxes for $5.99 each. Completely outrageous considering they weren’t even good boxes — the boxes had print from some random moving company, not very sturdy, and no handles for lifting for boxes. I confirmed the price with the cashier and he doubled down. It feels like if the item doesn’t have a price tag, they make up a random price at the register. I could’ve bought better boxes at Home Depot for half the price. Aside from this, my previous experiences have been decent.

This place is really cool. Has a lot of stuff that would probably be in your Amazon wishlist. They have a lot of items for origination (which I loved) We probably were in there for an hour looking at all of the cool stuff they had. The prices are really affordable.

Was excited to stumble across this store, but that quickly ended when I asked the worker a question. He pretended to not speak English or understand at all. Although I already heard him speaking very good English while I looked around the store. Don't want my money because you have some type of bias then I definitely don't want to spend it, don't worry I won't be back or recommend anyone shop here.

Discount City has a great selection of products. I went there for a couple of decorations and a tree stand for a Christmas tree. And they had everything I wanted and it was a great price.

It's huge and they have some of everything. It's also a little better quality items than those dollar stores, although the prices here are on individual items so it makes shopping require paying a little more attention than those fixed price setups

They have their own off-street parking which also helps in Alameda

Was suggested Discount City while looking for balloons to give to my eight-year-old on his birthday. I was surprised to walk into discount city and see such a big store filled with plenty of options! I came in for balloons and couldn’t help but to wander around a bit. I didn’t get to far before I realized I had to remain focused. So back to the balloons, the amount of options was AMAZING!!! No other stores I’ve been to for balloons had so many different characters, prints of balloon options, and different printed latex balloons like Discount City. I’m very used to having a limited selection, even Party City didn’t have quite the variety. I chose his balloons and when it was time to pay, of course the fact that it wasn’t overly priced was a huge, huge relief. I happily called my sisters and told them about this place for future reference. I plan on visiting again real soon when I have time to go through each aisle to see what’s available.

Good stuff. Pretty good prices i find more of the products I need regularly and cheaper at Dollar Tree but the nearest one is too far me to yo get to conveniently

I love this store. They have a very large selection of balloons and party supplies. Their prices are excellent and very nice and friendly workers.
